Amy Gao is a physiotherapist who obtained her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto. She supports patients with clear actionable guidance, thoughtful care, and personalized treatment plans tailored to their lifestyle and needs.

Amy is a strong advocate for evidence-informed treatment and focuses on helping patients better understand their bodies, address the root causes of their symptoms, and feel informed, comfortable, and supported from their very first visit. Her treatment approach combines manual therapy, acupuncture and dry needling, exercise, education, and individualized care to help patients build confidence and feel empowered in their recovery.

Amy has completed additional training in pelvic health, chronic pain, acupuncture, and dry needling techniques. She has a special interest in treating shoulder, low back, knee, and pelvic floor conditions. She also enjoys working with runners and individuals recovering from sports injuries, with a focus on recovery, long-term play, and injury prevention.

As a pelvic health physiotherapist, Amy uses a trauma-informed, holistic approach to support anyone experiencing pelvic floor symptoms, including prenatal and postpartum populations. She treats a wide range of uro-genital conditions, including incontinence, prolapse, and pelvic pain.

Joyce Wu is a Registered Physiotherapist who obtained her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto after completing her BSc at McGill University. She works with individuals with orthopedic, neurological, and complex multi-system conditions to help them overcome movement challenges and improve function in everyday life.

Her care is grounded in clear communication, collaborative goal setting, and practical rehabilitation strategies that align with each person’s priorities and lifestyle. Joyce takes a function-based approach to treatment and uses education, self-management strategies, manual therapy, functional strengthening, medical acupuncture, and clinical Pilates to support meaningful progress.

Joyce has a special interest in low back pain and sciatica, foot and ankle pain, posture concerns, concussion, return to work or sport, and complex multi-system conditions, such as fibromyalgia, hypermobility, and POTS. She also has experience supporting young and adult dancers, gymnasts, skaters, and cheerleaders with injury recovery and return to activity.

Her neurological rehabilitation interests include stroke, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, brain injury, dementia, FND, balance and gait training, and supporting healthy aging. Joyce believes rehabilitation should be challenging, engaging, and purposeful, and incorporates creative approaches to help people build confidence, independence, and trust in their movement.

Joyce has completed additional training in the Bobath Concept, Contemporary Medical Acupuncture, Pilates for neurological conditions, and concussion and dizziness management.

Outside of the clinic, Joyce loves to travel, try new recipes, and spend time with her dog, Cooper. She enjoys playing tennis, snowboarding, and running to stay active.
